NEWS: EVANGELION 3.0 TO PREMIERE IN US/CANADA THEATRES

Funimation recently announced that during January next year, Hideaki Anno’s Evangelion 3.0: You Can (NOT) Redo. will be screening in select U.S. and Canada movie theatres. Theatre locations have not been announced yet, but they have stated that the movie will be shown in major cities across both nations.

Funimation has also confirmed that most theatres will air the English dubbed version, while select theatres will be showing the Japanese dub with English subtitles. Evangelion 3.0 is the third installment in Anno’s Rebuild of Evangelion movie series, and premiered in Japanese theatres last year. And despite how disappointing this sequel was in the wake of Evangelion 2.0’s awesomeness, we’ll still go see it and hope that the fourth movie makes up for 3.0’s bullshit plot.
