NEWS: TOONAMI’S MONTH OF MOVIES REVEALED

Akira. Summer Wars. Fullmetal Alchemist: The Conqueror of Shamballa. Trigun: Badlands Rumble.

These are the four movies which will be premiering on Adult Swim’s Toonami block this December, as a special month of movies. Honestly, we had hoped that Akira would be among the list of titles they were premiering, but we ACTUALLY DIDN’T THINK IT WOULD HAPPEN. Nearly everyone at Advent Seven has seen Akira, and while the ending is a total mind-fuck (similar to Evangelion), it truly is a masterpiece that raised the bar for anime. In fact, all FOUR of these movies are great, so for you new anime fans out there, know that you’re in for a treat.

But wait- there’s more! Toonami will be holding a T-Shirt giveaway all throughout December, and we’ve been promised to see more of TOM and the Absolution Mk.III!! For Toonami fans, this is equally big news, as it was previously believed that new Toonami merchandise was a long ways off. And who doesn’t like to see more of the block’s titular robotic host?
