NEWS: J-STARS VICTORY VS. THIRD TRAILER AND NARUTO STORM CHARACTER REVEALED

Last week, Namco Bandai released their newest 5-minute trailer for J-Stars Victory Vs., the collaborative all-star fighting game celebrating Shonen Jump’s 45th anniversary. The gameplay works more or less in a team-battle system, similar to previous Dragonball Z games, and the roster is enormous. We’d list off all the characters being featured in the game, but that would just take too long, so click here for the full list so far.

Shonen Jump is allowing the fans to vote for which characters they’d like to see in the game, and the two latest additions are Koro-sensei from Assassination Classroom and Neuro from Neuro – Supernatural Detective. More additions are still to come, and Namco Bandai is currently accepting pre-orders for J-Stars, which will go on sale March 19th.

In other fighting-game related news, the new mystery character designed by Masashi Kishimoto for Namco Bandai’s Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja STORM Revolution has been revealed to be: Mecha Naruto. Yeah… “WTF?” was our initial thought too. Either Kishimoto is just running out of ideas, or Namco decided to wave an oversized check in his face. You can check out Mecha Naruto and his transformation, Mecha Kurama, in action here. The game will ship next year, and both STORM Revolution and J-Stars will be available on PS3 and Xbox 360 (the transition to next-gen consoles is always a tough one).
