NEWS: PERSONA 4 THE GOLDEN ANIMATION’S TRAILER RELEASED

The critically acclaimed PS2 game Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 gets yet another anime, this time around being based off the updated Persona 4 Golden video game. Persona fans, rejoice!

For those unfamiliar with the franchise- or the ever growing list of anime and games collectively named Persona 4- here’s the low down. The original PS2 game already got an anime back in 2011, and has also spawned several spinoff games, including Persona 4 Golden. P4G is an updated remake of the original game, not a sequel. Which makes it kind of a head-scratcher as to why we’re getting another anime based on essentially the same game. Maybe some of you experienced Persona fans out there can enlighten us! Or maybe people just really like this game and could always have more of it. Wouldn’t be the first time. 

Persona 4 the Golden Animation will premiere on the Aniplex Channel, Hulu, Crunchyroll and Daisuki July 10th.
