NEWS: DESTINY WILL BE OFFLINE FOR SEVERAL HOURS TODAY

Bungie announced on Twitter yesterday that it will officially be taking Destiny’s servers offline for a few hours today in order to fix several game bugs and connectivity issues that players have been experiencing recently. Besides fixing these errors (such as loot caves or falling off a bridge and not being able to respawn), the game experience will remain the same. For a complete list of the fixes, check it out on Bungie’s website here. The update will begin at 7am today Pacific Time, and it has not yet been clarified how long the game will remain offline. However, we’ll make sure to keep you guys informed on when the servers will go back online. 

UPDATE 6:47PM: Destiny servers are back online.
