NEWS: HALO: NIGHTFALL FIRST OFFICIAL TRAILER

IGN posted the first official trailer today for Halo: Nightfall, the five episode miniseries directed by Ridley Scott and produced by 343 Industries.

The live-action series follows Lieutenant Commander Jameson Locke as he and his unit are deployed by the UNSC to the abandoned outer colony of Sedra to investigate Sangheili terrorist attacks. Together with Sedran Colonial Guard commander Randall Aiken, Locke and his men discover a new biological weapon that is targeting humans. In order to discover this weapon’s origins, Locke’s unit is forced to go back to the place where the Halo saga began: Installation 04, the ringworld planet Master Chief initially destroyed. 

Halo: Nightfall will tie in with Halo 5: Guardians, detailing Locke’s background and linking the storylines between Halo 4 and Halo 5. The series will be included in the Halo: Master Chief Collection and released on November 11th, 2014.
