NEWS: STAR WARS EPISODE VII TEASER TRAILER PREMIERING THIS WEEKEND

Confirming the rumors that have been floating around for a while now, J.J. Abrams recently posted on his twitter that the first teaser for Star Wars: The Force Awakens will premiere in 30 select theatres across the nation this Friday, and continue playing through the weekend before a worldwide premiere online Monday.

The director also specified that the teaser would be exactly 88-seconds long, so it would be a “tiny” peek at the movie and overall not show very much. Regardless, it will be our first look at the highly-secretive series installment and pretty damn exciting.

The full list of theatres and locations can be seen on the official Star Wars website, which was posted almost immediately after Abrams’ twitter post. So far, both Regal Cinemas and AMC Theaters have confirmed to be premiering the teaser, but hopefully we’ll hear of a few more locations in the following days. Either way, we’ll finally be getting our first peek at the immensely-anticipated movie soon enough.
