NEWS: ETRIAN ODYSSEY V ANNOUNCED

Atlus officially announced Etrian Odyssey V at the end of a recent livestream on NicoNico earlier this week.

The trailer, which you can see above, is mostly in Japanese and details are slim; but the phrase “potential for disaster” comes up about halfway through the teaser. The plot appears to be based on catastrophe, but that’s about as vague as it can get; hopefully there will be more in depth info in the near future. Unfortunately there is no release date or platform announced as of yet.

On another somewhat related note, Etrian Odyssey Untold II: The Knight of Fafnir has multiple DLCs being released with the game in Japan today. The four DLC waves include new quests, a character class, and even a hot springs quest.
