NEWS: KILL la KILL IS COMING TO TOONAMI

Don’t lose your way, Toonami Faithful! Kill la Kill is finally coming to Adult Swim’s Saturday action block on February 7th!! That’s right, just three weeks from now.

The critically acclaimed anime is scheduled to premiere next month, and will be starting off the block at the 11:30/10:30pm timeslot! Toonami usually saves their biggest shows for the first hour of the night, so this is truly a service to the fans who’ve been asking to see Kill la Kill for the past year now. The announcement was made by Aniplex of America at their Otakon panel in Las Vegas yesterday, along with a presentation video courtesy of the Toonami co-hosts themselves, TOM and Sara. 

The English dub of the anime stars Erica Mendez as Ryuko Matoi, Carrie Keranen as Satsuki Kiryuin, and Christine Marie Cabanos as Mako Mankanshoku. Aniplex of America has licensed the series and has released four volumes of the anime on Blu-ray and DVD so far, along with the fifth and final volume scheduled for release on April 28th.
