NEWS: FANTASTIC FOUR TEASER TRAILER REVEALED

The summer movie lineup just got 4 times more awesome. From 20^th Century Fox comes The Fantastic Four, and I know what some of you are thinking, but as far as reboots go this one might have some real potential.

The trailer begins with a voice-over discussing a topic that isn’t usually touched upon in Marvel movies: science. And not the pseudo-scientific discussions from usual comic book fare–I mean the kind of science that asks questions like: “how did we get here”, and “how do we move forward.” The trailer shows young Reed Richards and Ben Grimm making a major discovery in a garage that will probably become a major plot device. We then get glimpses of all four protagonists, and I’m kind of excited that Michael B. Jordan is playing The Human Torch. In the trailer, there’s also a scene where Torch and The Invisible Woman, played by Kate Mara, quarrel with one another. We also see someone (possibly Dr. Doom) stroll down a hallway, knocking people away. Overall, the trailer has me pretty psyched up.

You’ll be able to see The Fantastic Four in theaters August 7th.
