She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Trailer Reaction

The next Disney+ series from Marvel is bringing
fan-favorite She-Hulk to the screen. Does this trailer create interest? Yeah,
it sure does.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law stars Tatiana Maslany as
Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk. The show will also feature Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk,
Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/Abomination, Jameela Jamil as Titania, and Benedict
Wong as Wong.

Alright, let’s address the Hulk in the room. The CGI
has left much to be desired. She-Hulk looks like Fiona from Shrek at times, not in a good way. Now,
is this just a trailer that features CGI that has yet to be polished? For sure,
but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t look kinda bad at this point.

Are there any good aspects of the trailer? Also for
sure. Her carrying her date to the bedroom is funny. Acknowledging the fact
that She-Hulk has always been down with the thickness[1]  was also funny since it was
done funnily. I also liked seeing She-Hulk and Hulk train together. I’m expecting
an 80s training montage.

This show looks like it’ll follow the classic Marvel
formula. A person gets powers, and they have to balance having powers with
their life. Jennifer wants to just be a lawyer, but unfortunately for her, she
is also the She-Hulk. It does seem like being She-Hulk has some positives for
her; we’ll see how much she likes being She-Hulk as the show goes on.

Emil Blonsky looks like a dirty creep. He’s more
monstrous in human form than when he’s Abominating out. I hope we get a cool
Hulk/She-Hulk team up to fight against him. It would look pretty friggin cool.
Titania looks like she will also have a good fight with She-Hulk. Other comic
book characters, like new to the MCU hero Frog Man, will show up as well.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law has promise but still has
yet to “wow”. We won’t know for sure until the show comes out if it’ll hold up
to the Marvel level of quality. I am chronically behind on Marvel shows so
watching this will help me get back on track. The show for one of Marvel’s Lady
Liberators premieres on August 17th, 2022.
