Advent Seven Review

In honor of Advent Seven’s tenth birthday, I figured I’d review something I have never reviewed before…the company itself!

Advent Seven is directed by Andrewhabara and stars himself, me, Tre Hanzy, Mystsilver, and Frank C. I’ve been writing for Andrew since the beginning, and I’m incredibly grateful for the chance to share my thoughts on comic book stuff.

If you work at Advent Seven, then you have an excuse to go see whatever comic book movie you want and write reviews on anything that applies to comics, video games, or anime. It’s a pretty rad perk, and one of my favorite things about writing for Advent Seven.

Another thing I like about A7 is I’ve gotten to follow the ad campaigns of films and tv shows for the sake of reviewing them. Sometimes they lead to disappointments (I’m looking at you Lightyear), but then sometimes you get to review trailers for months for shows like Peacemaker or The Batman. It’s always the best when you can review every new trailer for something and then the actual show or movie ends up being fucking awesome.

Working with Andrew, who’s one of my oldest friends now, has been great. I had no idea when I walked into UNL’s Anime Club that I’d not only meet Andrew, but would also get the opportunity to write for an entertainment website. Take a chance and go to your school’s anime club, you never know what will happen.

Advent Seven is the perfect place to share ideas and sharpen your writing skills. I’m grateful for the opportunity A7 has given me, and I can’t wait to keep writing more reviews in the future. Andrewhabara is a cool guy and everyone on the team is cool too. I can’t wait to see what the next year brings for us at Advent Seven.
